In Q1 RN-Aero Rosneft Aero increases the volume of into-plane refueling by 9.5% in the first quarter

Rosneft Aero, a subsidiary of Rosneft Oil Company, increased the volume of aircraft refueling at Russian airports up to 458 thousand tons in 2019, which is by 9.5% more in comparison with the same period in 2018. At the same time the number of into-plane refuelings is by 13% higher, reaching over 50.7 thousand operations.

Moreover in the first quarter of 2019 Rosneft Aero sold about 797 thousand tons of aviation fuel, which is 5.2% more than in the first quarter of 2018.

The increase in sales resulted from the current strategy of Rosneft Oil Company aimed at enhance aviation fuel supply. The airports that displayed largest increase in sales were Sheremetyevo in Moscow, Pulkovo in Saint Petersburg and Pashkovsky in Krasnodar.
